Design project
A design project is a comprehensive strategy for transforming a space. It includes detailed technical documentation, photorealistic visualisations and full specifications for finishes and interior elements. This is not merely a set of beautiful images, but a carefully structured plan that takes into account architectural features, engineering systems and the client’s lifestyle or business needs.
M.A.D. Interiors is a full-service interior design studio. We develop design concepts and guide each project through to completion.
Step Four — Author’s Supervision
Within this service, we:
  • monitor the implementation of all design decisions;
  • consult contractors on drawings and technical solutions;
  • provide prompt clarifications and adjustments when questions arise on site;
  • ensure that on-site decisions remain aligned with the overall concept and character of the interior.
Author’s supervision does not replace the role of a site manager or technical supervisor. Its purpose is to preserve the integrity of the design and ensure faithful execution of the author’s vision.
Remote author’s supervision is included in the project fee until the completion of the design project.
If required, remote supervision can be extended beyond this stage for an additional fee.
Author’s supervision ensures that all construction and finishing works strictly follow the approved design project.
After the visual concept is approved, we produce a complete set of working drawings, including:
  • ceiling plans;
  • electrical and lighting layouts;
  • floor plans;
  • detailed drawings of complex nodes and sections;
  • full wall elevations for all spaces;
  • bespoke furniture detailing.
In parallel, we handle the procurement process:
  • developing the kitchen design in collaboration with the manufacturer;
  • designing and specifying interior textiles;
  • preparing detailed specifications for furniture, lighting and decorative elements, as well as all finishing materials.
Step Three — Technical Documentation & Procurement
Step Two — Concept & Visual Design
Interior concept
Furniture layout plan
Reconstruction and layout plan
We develop the overall design concept using curated mood boards, references and visual narratives that define the atmosphere, colour palette and stylistic direction of the project.
We design the functional structure of the space: furniture groupings, living and reading areas, decorative compositions, green accents and lighting scenarios for each zone. This is the point where the interior truly starts to come alive.
Once the furniture layout is approved, we prepare a plan of all structural changes, including demolition of existing partitions, construction of new ones and optimisation of spatial layouts. Where required, we coordinate the approval of these changes through specialised consultants, providing full drawing sets and supporting the process until completion.
Photorealistic 3D visualisation
Concept ideas are translated into detailed 3D models, allowing each space to be viewed from multiple angles. The result is a highly accurate representation of the future interior — our visualisations typically correspond to the final realisation by approximately 90%.
At this stage, the image of the future interior begins to take shape.
Step One — Analysis & Briefing
Accurate site measurements
Immersion in the brief
Project team setup
Once the contract is signed, we arrange a site visit by a professional surveyor to carry out precise measurements or 3D scanning of the property. Based on this data, a detailed as-built plan is prepared.
An online meeting with the lead designer follows, during which we discuss the future interior, stylistic preferences and functional requirements. The outcome of this meeting is a comprehensive design brief that becomes the foundation of the project.
After the brief is approved, a dedicated project chat is created, bringing together the client, lead designer, project manager and all involved specialists. This ensures transparent communication throughout the process.
